Nira’s Feedback
I stayed in Nepal for three and a half months
volunteering with the non-profit Rising Lotus Children’s
Village. Every week I visited Thamel to get a taste of
western food and relax. During my first month I stayed
at several different hotels, never really satisfied with
any of them. Then I found Hotel Visit Nepal. The owner,
Parashuram, is very friendly and he made my visits for
the remaining two months that much more enjoyable. Aside
from the friendly staff, the availability of a hot
shower day or night, along with clean rooms and very
reasonable prices makes Hotel Visit Nepal a very nice
home away from home! I would recommend it to anyone
looking for a place to stay in Thamel.

Visit Nepal it has been a pleasure.

My Home
Jacqui Shaw
April 22/2010
Well,
I would like to say, first of all, what a lovely,
sincere welcome I received the first time I stayed at
Hotel visit Nepal as an Info Nepal Volunteer. All of the
“H. V. N.” staffs were always offering little
suggestions and things to try in Thamel, as well as help
with travel, sight-seeing and many other things. Hotel
Visit Nepal is a great little sanctuary on a quiet side
street of Thamel, but still near the heart of
everything- there are inexpensive bakeries and
cybercafés adjacent, doors away, the rooms are secure
and have all you need in a home away from home.
However I really must add that in my “hour of need”,
Hotel Visit Nepal staff really came through for me (on
my second stay there)!! I had broken my wrist and had to
come all the way back from Langtang to get it looked at
Kathmandu Hospital very nearby. Although the cramped,
hot and dusty Six hour bus ride had drained most of my
energy, the moment I sat down in your cool breezy lobby
and talked with some of your staff again, K knew all
would be ok again some how I cant thank all of you (who
helped me) enough for all the kindnesses bestowed from
storing my heavy pack, to helping me contact my
volunteers organization, to even accompanying me the
hospital and helping to locate the doctor…
You guys really rock, because such sincere kindness is
rare in this fluid world of international travel.
To all you travelers, finding such a gem of a place can
make your stay, so don’t hesitate to come here and stay
a while when you come to Kathmandu! (To the staff again
thanks- I am sure I will see you all again before I
leave Nepal)
Best Wishes,

A Home from Home in the heart of Kathmandu.
Having just spent the last two months in and around
Kathmandu I would like to say a big Thank you to Mr. PR.
Parashuram the owner of Hotel Visit Nepal is a goldmine
of information on Nepali history, geography and
religion. His warm hearted staff have helped me
enormously by arranging taxis and buses etc. On every
stay here the rooms have been clean and kept in
excellent order. Whenever I visit Kathmandu I will be
staying at Hotel Visit Nepal.

Nepal for a short visit & stayed in Hotel Visit Nepal
run by Mr. Parashuram.
I found this place not a hotel but more than a hotel by
the homely atmosphere & friendly behave of Mr.
Parashuram.
He helped me like a friend since long in every step like
guiding & arranging all the requirements of my Nepal
tour in a fair cost.
Thank you my Nepali brother Parashuram !
I am really grateful to you.

Feedback from Jack Schulz
Hotel
Visit Nepal is a wonderful place to stay in Kathmandu.
My name is Jack Schulz and I live on Maui in the
Hawaiian Islands U.S.A. I have stayed in this fine hotel
in between my Annapurna trek, and my trip to Lhasa
Tibet. They were so kind as to store any gear I didn’t
need for my travels. The staff is all ready to help, and
the manager has the knowledge and can help with booking
any trek or tour you might want to take. I highly
recommend this that you avail your self the chance to
make new friends here in Nepal at this fine hotel.

My wonderful stay in nepal and especially in kathmandu
hello folks
If you decide to come to Nepal and Kathmandu you should
definitely stop by here in this Hotel Visit Nepal. It is
located in Thamel ( the Tourist area in Kathmandu) in a
side street which is not too noice and hardly cars or
motorcycles come by. The family who runs this lovely
place is so kindful and will answer any questions and
will give good advices for your stay here in Nepal. The
rooms are clean and added with bathrooms and with
required facilities. I had a unbelievable time here in
Kathmandu and got to know the staff and manager and we
became good good friends after staying here 7 times.

It was great time staying here in "Visit Nepal" and
getting to know the family who runs this place. The
rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable in
comparison to other accomodation I experienced and with
a small bathroom. The owner knows a lot about the
country and his history so you are more then welcome to
ask him any questions about the Kathmandu Valley. I
found this hidden Guesthouse in Thamel over my
Organisation i worked for ( Info Nepal) and this was the
best what could have happened to me. The family gave me
immediately the feeling of being just not only a Tourist
/ Customer. I could come up with any problems, questions
or issues any time so this helped a lot to adjust to
their lifestyle faster.
